They want to win, and they want to win right now!
Juniors expect a lot, and they want instant gratification. When things go wrong most juniors want to stop, hit delete, and move on. As you know, that’s just not possible in the real world.
So what do they need?
What can they get out of working with Dr. Bob?
A mental and emotional blueprint for success they can take and build on for the rest of their lives.
It all starts with a look at their fundamentals. Their practice habits, physical skills, mental foundation, and emotional stability will be examined and evaluated.
We address patience, composure, and maturity, and try to help them with these aspects to give them a foundation so when they go play they can have an edge that is not of physical talent.
What we typically see in developing juniors is when they start out, the larger athlete’s talent usually comes out on top but juniors grow and the physical attributes equal out, as with every sport.
Now that the physical attributes don’t dominate any more, it’s;
Who’s using their mind the most effectively
Who’s tapping into the faith box
Who’s believing in their talent
Who’s making the best decisions
Who’s assessing the situation and making those mental adaptations more
effectively and efficiently
Dr. Bob helps juniors understand that winning isn’t the only thing and it’s not about beating the other person. He helps them honor the game by playing the game with a great quality of effort. It’s about maturing and understanding that whatever the result, it must be accepted and then move on to deal with the consequences that are playing out, that…is real life.
Juniors working with us will come to understand the games of concentration, composure, intentional focus, and engagement, and that there is no magic wand to becoming a great player. They will learn about time management and getting through intimidation. They will become emotionally resilient by overcoming the fears of playing in front of people, social evaluation, embarrassment, and looking foolish.
If a junior player has all that, they’re on their way to being successful.

Dr. Bob, thanks for helping me these last couple of tournaments. It has helped me a lot and I just wanted to Thank You! I don't think I would have been in the same position as I am now without your help. I felt good yesterday in the final group and although I didn't play as well as I would have liked, I felt like I belonged there. However, we still have some work to do and I am looking forward to it! Thanks again!
Dear Dr. Bob,
I had so much fun with you during my spring break! Thank you for you amazing help and I wanted to let you know that your pholosophy of thinking helps out a lot. I have learned that it not only helps me in golf, but in cheerleading as well. I have learned that simply doing my best will pay off in the ways in which I hoped. Today, I had my first tournament of the season. I can proudly say that I did exactly what you told me to do pre and post shot. I was calm and I had a positive look when I was faced with tough situations. I had one bad hole and I let go of the results immediatly after I sank my last putt and then continued on. I came back to birdie the next two holes. By letting go of that one bad hole i enabled my self to sucess. I played in the now and had great results. Without your help I would not have been able to do what I did today. Dr. Bob, I want to thank you for all of your help. I appreciate it more than you know and I will continue to strive to be 1%. Again, thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
